Unlike other journalists, Daniel didn't earn his reputation because of his great work, but because of his death. He was killed by a group of terrorists that were affiliated with some attacks from 9/11. After his death a book called "At Home in the World" was published. Its a collection of his writings from the Wall Street Journal that was put together by Helene Cooper and Mariane Pearl- Daniel's wife. Daniel Pearl is now buried in Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery in L.A, Cali.
